What’s a Castle Steward?

A Steward is a reliable part-time employee who can help us take care of on-site jobs at new and existing properties. You’ll be instrumental in placing qualified tenants in their dream homes and improving the company’s overall efficiency.

Steward responsibilities include, but are not limited to, showing properties to interested tenants, retrieving and delivering keys, and checking in on properties. We’ll send you notifications for jobs, and you can choose to accept or decline them based on your own schedule.

What are the requirements?

To make a good Steward, you must be punctual, friendly, and willing to visit all parts of Detroit. This position requires a car and a smartphone (preferably an iPhone or iOS device). You must be over 18, have a valid driver’s license, and have some familiarity and comfort with the different neighborhoods of Detroit.

Why become a Steward?

Flexible hours, consistent part-time work, and good pay! Stewards earn $15/hour, plus $0.575 per mile traveled. Work hours are flexible, typically nights and weekends. In addition, at Castle we want every employee to feel like part of the team that’s growing the business.
