Castle tenants have two options for paying rent: online via bank account, or with MoneyGram.

Online

For tenants with bank accounts, online payment is the preferred option. To get started, Castle will email you a unique link to set up your account. You can link your bank account for online payment using the "Link your bank account" button in the Rent tab. You’ll need your bank account information, including the routing and account numbers. You can find both numbers on your checks:

Around 2-3 business days after you input your banking information, you’ll receive two microdeposits in your bank account. (Microdeposits are deposits less than $1. The deposits should have the word “Castle” in the title.) Once you see the deposits, you can log into your Castle account and input those deposit amounts.

If you input the correct amounts, your account will be verified, and you’ll be ready to pay online! We’ll text you a couple days before your rent is due, and you’ll be able to authorize payment over text. You can also initiate a payment through your online account.

MoneyGram

For tenants who prefer to pay in cash, MoneyGram is an easy and convenient option.

MoneyGram is a service that lets you transfer cash directly to Castle using convenient kiosks. You can find MoneyGram kiosks in stores like CVS and WalMart. To find the closest MoneyGram to you, visit the MoneyGram Locator here.

Most MoneyGram locations have an electronic kiosk you can use to send payments. If you're using a kiosk, use "Pay Bills" and search for Castle. You can use your phone number as the account number.

If your location doesn’t have a kiosk, ask the cashier how to send a MoneyGram payment. Use your phone number as the account number. Our receive code is 15413.

Check to PO Box (for non-Castle leases)

If you are on a lease that specifies that you must pay rent by check (eg: a non-Castle lease), we will still honor that lease by letting you pay by check. We accept check payments to our PO Box: Castle, PO Box 441130 #59736, Detroit, MI 48244-1130
